Message to Customers: COVID - 19
Friends of Bonchon,
Starting with our first restaurant, Bonchon was founded on three key principles: good food, good service, and good neighbors. Today looks very different from when we first opened our doors, but we have held steadfast to these principles and stand resolute in our commitment to our community during these difficult times.
It is anything but business as usual for us and while Bonchon remains open to serve our neighbors with carry-out and delivery through major delivery companies, we have implemented heightened procedures to make sure guest safety is our top priority.
While the term ‘unprecedented’ has been exhaustively used, there are few other words to describe this situation where uncertainty seems to be the only constant. One thing that we are certain of is our continued commitment to community service. We have witnessed corporations and individuals both stepping up with donations and neighbors helping neighbors, a true testament to the human spirit and our collective sense of community.
Our continued commitment to our community includes making a difference for those on the frontline of this pandemic. Bonchon continues to donate meals to healthcare workers around the country, a small token of our appreciation for these everyday heroes.
As the restaurant industry struggles through these times, we will continue to support our Bonchon team and restaurant community with innovative giveback programs. We recently launched our ‘Hearts & Soles’ campaign to raise funds for hospitality industry workers across the country through a partnership with the National Restaurant Association and their NRAEF fund. In partnership with Threadless, limited edition Bonchon-designed shoes and other Bonchon swag is being offered online at www.bonchon.threadless.com, with all Bonchon proceeds benefiting RERF and restaurant industry workers adversely affected by COVID-19
We are grateful that we can continue to serve you, and while you are making new Bonchon memories at home, we look forward to the appropriate time to fully opening our doors again.
